Privacy Policy — Kingdom Lights

Kingdom Lights (“we”, “us”) is a family-owned Christmas lighting business in Minnesota. This policy explains what information we collect on kingdomlightspro.com and when you work with us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

What you send us. When you ask for an estimate or a design meeting: your name, email, phone number, the property address, and anything you write in your message. Homeowners can add photos of the house. Businesses and HOAs tell us the business name, the type of property, what they want lit and a good time to meet. We also record whether you agreed to receive text messages.
When you become a customer. Your package, price, schedule, service history, payment records and photos of the installation. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.
Automatically. Our hosting and security provider processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from spam and attacks. If you arrive from a link with a campaign tag (for example the QR code on one of our yard signs), we note that tag with your request so we know which signs and ads work.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

How we use it

To prepare your estimate and design mockup, and to plan, install, service, take down and store your lights.
To contact you about your request, appointments and service by email, phone or, if you agreed, text message.
To remind customers about booking the next season, by email. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To keep our website and form secure and free of spam.
To keep the business, tax and legal records we are required to keep.

Text messages (SMS)

If you tick the text-message box on our form, or ask us to text you, Kingdom Lights will send you texts about your estimate, appointments and service, such as a reminder the day before we come. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our messages for us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need to do their job:

Website hosting and security: Cloudflare, including its Turnstile check that tells people from spam bots.
Email: Google Workspace, and Resend, which delivers the emails our website sends.
Address suggestions: Google Maps Platform. What you type in the address box is sent to Google to suggest addresses, under the Google Privacy Policy.
Running your job: the software we use to keep customer records, schedule crews, send texts and take payments, such as our customer-management system, a texting provider and a payment processor.
Our team: the people who design, install and service your lights.
When required: if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, our team or the public.
If the business changes hands: to a new owner, who must keep honoring this policy.

Kingdom Wash, our family’s house washing and gutter cleaning business, is a separate business. We do not share your information with it unless you ask us to.

Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may use cookies that are strictly necessary for security, for example to check that a form is sent by a person. Google’s address service may set its own cookies when the address box on the quote page loads.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests and customer records only as long as we need them to serve you and to keep the tax, accounting and legal records the law requires. Photos you send are used for your estimate and design. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless we are required to keep it.

How we protect it

The whole site runs over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our form checks that requests come from people, not bots, and access to customer information is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will tell you if a breach affects it, as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact us below. Depending on where you live, including under Minnesota law, you may have more rights over your data; we honor requests as the law requires and will never treat you differently for using them.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business changes. The date at the top shows the current version, and the latest version is always on this page.
